Description:
Skeletanyia is a  Dia de los Muertos inspired monster who uses special magical abilities and is known for being very festive and high-spirited in terms of her personality,  she also has a Hispanic accent.

Appearance:
She stands at 6'3 and is very lithe and elegant,   she mainly resembles an anthro jaguar wearing the traditional 'skull-face'  makeup,   she has various colorful festive markings on her fur and also on the pads of her paw-like hands.    She has long black hair with white streaks and a rose behind one of her cat-like ears.  

Her traditional costume consists of a gown with various colorful patterns and symbols representing the Land Of The Living and The Land Of The Supernatural,  each adorned with a skull.    She has very expressive neon green eyes with cat-like slits,   she also possesses retractable claws.

Personality:
If the term 'holiday spirit'  was any more literal,   it would definitely be her as she is one feline who just loves to party.   She loves the festivities assorted with the holiday and she loves to share her traditions with others.  

She can also be nurturing,  kind and sweet especially with her chosen subjects -  she is also extremely festive and high spirited but can be serious at times too,  there's a lot to love about her,   as she can be a real blast -  especially at parties,    in many ways -  including her infectious charm.

Powers:
She is amazingly agile and strong with cat-like reflexes and heightened senses,  as well as magical abilities that enable her to bring the festive fun with her wherever she goes -  which includes using transformation spells to transform her victims into jaguar-like creatures,  or into monsters with various intricate designs,   she is a mistress when it comes  to magic  as her performances are magical in more ways than one.    

Of course to help her,   she has several flamenico Jaguar-girl dancers and a mariachi style band with jaguar-like creatures dressed in skeleton themed apparel.

Strategy:
She likes to organize huge,  grand parties to draw in her future subjects with her jaguar-girl dancers and mariachi band as the entertainment -   that way her subjects are guaranteed to have a good time.    She makes them feel at home and also educates them about the history behind the celebration of Dia de los Muertosand teaches them all about the traditions of the holiday.

She does so in the form of catchy and entrancing musical numbers which are started by her mariachi band,   these musical numbers use very clever visuals and colorful special effects such as dancers in skeleton themed apparel rising out of the ground to partake in a semi-Thriller inspired dance number or flamenco routine.  

This not only educates the subjects but also puts them into a trance-like state,  eager to party along with her and have fun,   in turn making them more free-spirited and energetic just like her.    This is part of the mental and physical changes they undergo as a result,   as she showers them with love and admiration,   treating them as if they were her very close friends.

She nurtures them and cares for them,   making sure that they enjoy themselves as they find themselves slowly changing mentally and physically into jaguar-like creatures either to be members of her mariachi band or part of her crew of back-up dancers -  when this happens they will develop more feline attributes as the process goes along as well as maybe purring and acting in a very feline manner as their clothing melts off and reforms into a skeleton themed festive outfit.

The more time they spend with her,   the more they want to party and the more they grow to love her as not only a teacher -  but a mother figure as well.    Sometimes she may transform some of her hypnotized subjects into zany yet interesting monsters with intricate designs that make them look like they came out of a painting.

When all her subjects are transformed,  she takes the party over to various other realms and they follow her -  eager to teach others about this grand celebration.

Weaknesses:
She seems to dislike it whenever someone tries to ruin the mood by insulting her or questioning the holiday in general,    when that happens -  she becomes quite serious and kind of dark.   She can be a bit overbearing at times but all she wants to do is to make sure that her subjects all have a good time.

It requires a certain level of skill in the field of the mystical arts,  mainly holy spells - which if performed correctly can weaken her and also gradually reduce the effects of her own magic, which may break the spell she has over her subjects.

If defeated,  she will slowly sink deeper and deeper through a hole that materializes on the ground until she is sent back into the land of the supernatural -  taking her dancers and band with her.

However if she is not defeated,   she simply uses her magic to turn herself ghost-like/invisible and fade away -   she can also choose to remain in this form to recharge her own magic if it isn't completely weakened.    When she does this,  she leaves a trail of rose petals behind her for future soon-to-be-subjects to follow -  from there,    the party starts all over again.
