You're A Beetlejuice Fan If...

1. You've seen the movie more times than you can count. (And I still enjoy it.)
2. You've known someone who is a lot like one of the characters. (Well...Chris Garza aka Highweedsandrust did say that if he was in the Burtonverse that he'd look kind of like Otho.  And my mom does act a LOT like Delia Deetz.)
3. You've owned the action figures. (I happen to own one of them, and that's Otho.)
4. You're one of the only people who remembered Glenn Shadix or knew who he was. (This is a very sad case for me...seeing as I can barely find any youtube videos of him.)
5. You love magical characters like Flabber, the Genie, Drop Dead Fred, and Maurice from Little Monsters because they remind you of Beetlejuice. (Blame the Nostalgia Critic for the latter.)
6. You have the soundtrack or Music For A Darkened Theater by Danny Elfman.
7. If you own the latter, your favorite track is the Beetlejuice theme.
8. You've actually quoted the movie a few times. (More than a few.)
9. If your parents have had someone redecorate their house, you've made the "What am I worried about? You can't even change a tire" joke on occassion.
10. You hope to one day be able to pull off the Banana Boat scene at a local family get-together. (This is one of many movie recreations I have wanted to pull off next to the here's Johnny scene from the Shining.)

13. You have your own concept for what the sequel should be about. (Yep, even made character bios and everything.)
14. You've written fanfics or fanscripts. (Yep. Done that too.)
15. You think that there are certain famous people that remind you of the characters. (This is especially evident with me...as Rusell Brand DOES remind me of BJ in the way he looks and acts. Sure he's not pale and he doesn't have the same kind of bad teeth BJ does, but he's got the same eye makeup, messy hair and fashion sense and crazy mannerisms. Russell to me is what would happen if BJ was alive and was British. I know he's going to to be in the Drop Dead Fred remake.)
16. You've actually had dreams about the movie. (I know I have.)
17. You've actually said Beetlejuice 3 times in hopes something would happen. (Done that...sadly nothing happened.)
18. You wish you lived with the Maitlands.
19. Sometimes when you hear the theme being used in another show or movie..you instantly recognize it. (I remember hearing it in the trailer for My Name Is Bruce and in the phony recut trailer for Army of Darkness. The first time I heard it though was in an episode of the 2003's Basil Brush Show.)
20. You believe that when you die..instead of going through that whole gory "Worms Crawl In" decaying routine that you get taken to a place like the Neitherworld.
21. You actually one day hope to get ghost powers.
22. You know that Glenn Shadix had a website that's still online. (I also found a twitter page someone made for the character of Otho and a Tumblr page where someone's RPing as him.)
23. You were really peeved off when during the 2011 Oscars, they forgot to mention Glenn Shadix in the In Memorial segment.

25. You have your own character who is a supernatural being. (I have several. One of which is Russell-Juice, who is based off Russell Brand. He's BJ's apprentice.)
26. You happen to own quite a few stripey patterned things. (I have striped socks, black mostly with  silverly stripes on them.)
27. There are certain animals out there that make you think of this movie. (It's definitely snakes for me, especially coral snakes.)
28. You've actually seen the Beetlejuice show at Universal.
29. You've dressed up as him on occassion.
30. You've named your pets after the characters. (I saw a picture of this really big black and white dog that someone named after Otho though.)
31. You've done Beetlejuice fanart or know someone online who has done it.
32. You like haunted houses...a LOT.
33. On personality tests regarding the movie, you often get one of the characters as a result. (I often get either BJ or Adam Maitland as mine..but I have gotten Otho a few times..which is odd..because I don't have that much in common with him.)
34. Whenever someone has sea-food for dinner..you can't help but think of the Banana Boat scene. (Yep. Sometimes in my head during those times i've had the song playing and started singing a lot to it.  The other guests looked at me weirdly.)
35. You are strange and unusual - like Lydia. (I went through a goth phase once.)
36. You own a copy of the Handbook of the Recently Deceased. (Actually I wish I owned a copy of that.)
37. You've had dreams which mirror scenes from the movie. (This is true...I've had a least ones in which me or someone else has rapidly aged or turned into a ghoul in the same style as Adam and Barbara during the seance scene.  Oh yeah, and the Banana Boat scene has been mirrored lots as well.)
38. You keep trying to pull funny faces, hoping to achieve the face-stretching talent that Adam and Barbara have. (I've done this..combined with mimicking the scene in Ghosts where Maestro takes his face off like a mask.)
