Trumpspeak.

Trumpspeak: A running gag with Monstrump characters,  basically the running gag is that some human characters can understand what they are saying while other humans can only seem to hear them make assorted sounds or speaking in a language they don't understand.  In actuality they speak English, a slightly Trumpish version of the English language but still English nonetheless,  but some of the more animal based ones make occasional cutesy-critter noises based on the species of animal they're modeled on on (e.g Feline ones meowing or purring or hissing on occasion,  bat ones squeaking/eeking, and bird ones either gobbling/chirping or squawking...duck ones either quack or squeak when nervous.),  in movies and shorts that feature Monstrumps there are subtitles (especially in the case of alien based Monstrumps such as one based on Star Wars aliens).
